Yamunotri Hotels
Yamunotri is a sacred shrine and the source of river Yamuna. It is westernmost shrine in the Garhwal Himalayas. The main attraction at Yamunotri is the temple devoted to Goddess Yamuna and the thermal springs at Jankichatti. The actual source of frozen ice, known as Yamunotri glacier is located on the Kalind Mountain at the height of 4421m above sea level. This place is not frequented much as it is not accessible and therefore the shrine is located on the foothills. Since this glacier is very difficult to approach, the devotees offer pooja at the temple itself.
Yamunotri is a well known place for Hindu pilgrimage. It is one of the places that are visited during the Char Dham Yatra. This pilgrimage site is located in the state of Uttaranchal. Yamunotri hotels offer wonderful accommodation in the place with a blend of charm and delight. Pilgrims can find accommodation in the Dharamshalas. You can also visit Suryakund which is the most important kund which is near the temple in the form of hot water springs.
